"Excellent room (4 of us in a suite) for a good price during peak ski season. Onsen was fantastic. Easy access to skiing. Free onsite parking. Car not necessary, but definitely helps to get around the area."

"We stayed at the Sakura cottage and found its location very convenient to accessing the ski hills. Everyone at Bliss lodge was extremely helpful and friendly. They offered special nights showing how to make traditional Japanese food and offered advice on finding restaurants and transportation. We would highly recommend Bliss Lodge!"

"Absolutely loved our stay at Bliss Lodging!! Staff were so incredibly kind and helpful and picked us up from the Hirafu welcome center as well as dropping us off at the Kutchan train station. The room was very spacious and clean and they even had free laundry! It was very easy to walk into Hirafu, maybe 15 minutes one way but also very easy to catch the free shuttle right outside. I cannot recommend them enough and will be staying here again when we return to Hirafu!"

"Such an amazing experience staying here for a week. Our group of 6 stayed in the Villa Tsubaki and had plenty of space. The entire Bliss staff were so kind, welcoming and friendly. Above and beyond service and hospitality. Cannot recommend staying here enough & will be happy to return in the future. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Chalet Ivy. The room was a good size and the drying cupboards were very welcome as they helped to dry out ski jackets etc. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of choices. Staff were helpful and polite. The ski concierge and hire service was also very useful. Prices for ski hire were competitive except for helmets which were a lot cheaper to hire elsewhere eg Rhythm"

"The staff were excellent, kind and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Good cooking facilities. Very spacious apartment. The onsen was dated and needs an upgrade but the water was a good temperature. "

"The room was great! Bathtub in the bathroom was amazing! The SkiJapan staff were excellent with arranging our transfer from the airport and even met us at the bus stop late at night, gave us a ride to the property and helped check us in. They also provided welcome snacks which was a great surprise. We truly enjoyed our stay. Location in Lower Hirafu is perfect, walkable to everything but in a quieter part of town. It is across from a nightclub but we never heard anything from them in the 4...
