Guatemala Hotels with Air Conditioning

"Amazing hotel. After a looooong bus trip from Lanquín we were in the roof top pool with a cocktail within 15 mins of arriving. The sunset view across the lake is stunning. Room was great with AC which was welcome. Just note that we booked a shuttle to Tikal which left the hotel punctually, but went to the airport which is 10 mins away and we then waited an hour to collect other people who had booked the same shuttle. We missed the sunset tour at Tikal as a result. Be warned. "

"Beautiful site at edge of lake, great view. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well- a real comfort on the 100 degree days we were there. Pleasant pool. Staff were pleasant, especially the dining room staff, who worked overtime for our large group with early breakfasts and late dinners. Some of our group had rooms that needed some maintenance, especially with water pressure issue, but water was fine in mine. Anyone with mobility issues should know there is no elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors....

"Room was comfortable --- inside patio very relaxing and beautiful. Quiet and clean. Staff helpful. We were disappointed there was no restaurant as stated but enjoyed dinner at hotel right down the street on the lake. "
