"Lovely hotel in a great location. Every member of staff I spoke to was absolutely lovely and the breakfast was great. The only small things that made it a 4/5 for me was the wifi (able to connect and stream but not very fast so my phone and tablet were buffering frequently) and the noise between rooms was quite loud (I woke up in a fright the first night as I thought my neighbour flushing their toilet was someone who somehow got in my room and flushed mine lol!). But well worth a stay if these...

"I was COMPLETELY & UTTERLY disappointed with our stay. I am TRULY bewildered with the fact this is SUPPOSED to be a 5-star hotel! I have wanted to stay here since I saw the hotel on the movie Last Holiday….do yourself a favor, DO NOT spend the time, expense, nor travel to waste it all!!! I’m sure at one time, during its “heyday” it was a lovely place to stay, however, we found the public spaces were worn, sad, barren, smelly and dirty (looked as though no one had vacuumed nor dusted for...

"I was given a room on the 1st floor that had and obstructed view of the river. Also, even thought the insulation from street noise was good, the vibration caused by the tram was intense. All day, up to 1am and from 5am on. If you book there, make sure your room faces away from the main avenue that runs behind the hotel. Besides that, the location, close to the main attractions is great. Also the breakfast buffet is excellent. If it wasn't for the tram vibrations I will have given them a 5."

"Incredible location and a very comfortable hotel, just short walking distance from Charles bridge, tram stop across the street. Hotel was spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable beds, excellent water pressure in the shower. Welcome Proseco bottle and a complementary sauna was a nice touch. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, grocery store around the corner. Staff was helpful and lovely. Good value for the price. Would definitely come back and highly recommend, our stay was perfect!"
