"Overall a nice hotel highlighted by Bri on reception and many other helpful and friendly staff. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. Our family room had lots of space and everything was clean. Breakfaat was good as were the facilities of pool, sauna, jacuzzi. "We had such a lovely stay, the staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself was clean, warm and cozy, with a really inviting atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious! Our dishes were well-prepared and full of flavour. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into the menu and the ingredients. Also they do the best cup of coffee! "Breakfast was excellent.
The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but needs some updating. Thete was plenty of space for more drawers for clothes, a table/ rack for a suitcase , and a small table between the chairs would have been useful.
The pool and spa area was excellent.
The gardens are lovely.
The restaurant was heavily influenced by spice - too much for older taste buds, but the chef was accommodating! "

"We took our grandchildren for the evening. The only downside was we arrived at 6.10 and the pool for the children closed at 6. Had we known, we’d have arrived earlier. The room was a bit dated but clean and big. There were 3 beds so it was comfortable and spotless. The staff were absolutely lovely. We went in the pool the following day and it was gorgeous. The kids loved it. The products throughout were Elemis which was a luxury. We will definitely be going again."

"Clean room, did what it needed to do a bed with an ensuite. Felt very dated. Complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the gym had basic equipment but good enough to get a good gym session in. "We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Chester. Although, not directly in the centre, it is only a lovely 15 minute walk along the canal to get there. The hotel is modern, with reception located at the bar. The atmosphere was lively and you also get a complimentary drink voucher on check in. A nice touch. We used these later and you can get either an alcoholic cocktail or a non alcoholic cocktail. Those are the options. The staff were friendly and helpful.
