"Arrived after midnight, 1st room smelled like mold and mildew had to request a 2nd. That room smelled same, so requested a 3rd which brought me to the 2nd floor. Desk worker claimed he walked it, and was fine. Wrong. After 30 minutes and now requesting my 4th room after declining a refund they put me in a room that had a couch, so slept on that for 4 hours and left immediately due to the mattress springs poking through the bed. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms, that by far was my worst...

"A lovely hotel, it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. A good variety for breakfast. I can recommend this hotel for travelers near the Twin Cities, but rural enough to be quiet and lovely."

"Property was brutal. Pulled in parking lot and property looked nothing like photos online. Run down, broken windows, screens popped out. As we are sitting in car an employee was dragging a mattress, on ground, and through the front door. That was the final straw. Front desk said to put in request for refund in email then denied it."

"This property is not steps from the lake. It is pretty run down, but the beds were comfortable, the indoor space was nice, but esthetically lacking; broken blinds, etc. It definitely needs a do over."

"Although they are renovating in different areas the property was clean. My two children loved the poolside room and the fact they could walk right out to the pool area. The flooring in the room did become very slippery when wet. All and all we had a good stay!"

"This is kids favorite however when we were there (August 4-5), the surf area was under renovation. We had a short stay but we had fun."
