"Our first time back in Belize in 18 years . Umaya was the perfect place. The views over the lagoon towards the Maya mountains are perfect backdrop after a day at the beach and pool. The staff were great, very helpful with booking trips etc. The restaurant is excellent and the wood burning Pizzeria provides a great alternative. We will be back "

"Authentic hotel to stay at. Beautiful. Note, there is a lot of seaweed so you can’t go in the water. Well you can a little on the left hand side. There are a lot of waves. I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars. "Sunset Caribe in Belize offers a serene tropical getaway with stunning ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with a full kitchen if needed. The staff was friendly and attentive. They do offer golf carts so make sure to book your golf carts in advance as they do run out pretty quickly. However, there are cheaper options near the city center that will deliver the golf carts directly to you. The hotel does offer the usage of bicycles for free which we did take advantage of. Riding bicycles was a great way to see the island! We would definitely stay here again. "
