"Clean room with strong AC and beautiful porch view so close to the ocean"

"I booked thru this site on November 15th for Barana hotel and when I got there I was told that I was the 3rd person that day that showed up with our reservation and there was no reservation booked with the hotel. The hotel has no information of the booking. He then asked me to pay him directly for a room that night. He also mentioned that the hotel do not have any business with hotels.com. I would like my 81$ back please and thank you. "

"I love the food, clean room, friendliness and proximity to the beach. I didn’t like that the property is very dark at night. Had a great stay."

"Property was very clean and well cared for. Ocean front room had terrific view and lovely breezes, with a deep deck for protection from occasional showers. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very good restaurant, with a daily set breakfast which was cooked individually (no steam table). Bicycles and kayaks were handy to have, but definitely need better maintenance. Pool was clean and well maintained. Would absolutely stay there again. "

"It is an older hotel, so that was a bit of a shocker for us at first. But the location was great and after the receptionist changed our rooms we were quite happy, we got a bigger room with a smaller shower, (not to small) and shady outside sitting area, we were quite happy. The room and bathroom were clean, and because we only stayed 2 days we did not need the room-service. They did bring beach towels and emptied garbage. The breakfast was good and plenty, People lovely, and a superb location. "

"What a magical place! We stayed 2 nights with a group of 21. Kids and adults from age 7-48. Fun time in the jungle! Staff, food and rooms were wonderful. Perfect place for a serene getaway "
