Travel to Danga Bay

Great staffs, beautiful and rustic settting

We had a villa by the sea, which was awesome. What was not great was the bathroom curtain. It has black mold on it. Also the bathroom door was extremely rickety (basically some sort of foldable steel door). Not easy to operate. TV wasn't easy to set up for some reason, we tried using YouTube and it kept giving us a network error because there was issues with their own wifi. Other than this, the location was very chill. Not many decent restaurants around, but Payas own restaurant was OK. The staff were great specially an Indonesian waiter, who was SO FRIENDLY. Overall if our bathroom was better, I'd give it a higher rating, especially considering how pricey it was. Activities were absolutely top notch and not for beginners. We went rainforest atv riding, snorkeling, etc. Overall B+, activities A, food B-, rooms B. I'd definitely go again, but maybe not get one of the villas? Oh and FYI, u have to take a LONG (about 2.5 hrs) ferry ride from the harbor which is 2.5 hours from Johur Bahru. So be prepared for a very long day if ur traveling from KL.
