"The rooms were clean, but it stank like dirty laundry then realized it was because the fridge was unplugged and sitting in a puddle of water. There was no tv either. When I went down for extra towels or blankets I had to wait for the person at the front to finish her smoke before getting the items--so it took a few minutes."

"Very lovely well maintained hotel with a great teal blue/ orange tropical Margaritaville decor. Much better than usual complimentary breakfast with many choices and staff everywhere keeping it replenished and tidy. Turns out if you want bar service outside on the lovely patio, it is order yourself. No table service although they do serve food at the same tables. Difficult to understand since they are one and the same. Also no housekeeping service at all and we stayed for 3 nights. Surprising...

"Paint peeling off the ceiling, shower leaks so bad it would start flooding the bathroom floor and broken furniture and charge you 4 star hotel prices when they at MOST a 2 star hotel. Expedia does not tell you that you must also pay for parking. NEVER in my life have I ever been to a hotel that charges such a high rate for a such a low quality room and experience then CHARGE you to park in they parking lot of the hotel you just paid to stay at. We will NOT be returning to this hotel."

"We instantly noticed their beautiful cat, Mumu, when we checked in. It was nice to feel so welcomed as not all "pet friendly" places are friendly to cats as well as dogs. Christina could not have been nicer! When she realized we had 2 cats, she switched our room to the first floor to make it easier for us to settle in. We stayed four days and got additional coffee, cups and clean towels. We had been worried that our cats would escape if someone cleaned the room while we were away but she assured...

"Hotel sits right on the ocean front. FYI - only 8 rooms actually face the ocean. Didn't bother us because you're still on the ocean. Walk down the sidewalk to end of building and there is the ocean and beach area; which is also fantastic. We were only fortunate to stay for 2 nights; but definitely enjoyed our time here. There is also a pool which faces the ocean, and has a little pool bar. No restaurant or bar on site otherwise. Options for those are within walking distance, golf cart or by car....

"The person at the front desk was bothered each time we asked for something. The floors in the room were filthy. The oven and stovetop were rusted and disgusting and could not be used. On the last day we were there, we found roaches crawling throughout the room. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, and it has always been clean and well-kept with friendly, helpful staff. Will probably not book another reservation here."

"The property was very nice, definitely cleaner and more comfortable than I expected for the price and area. Palm is just a couple blocks from public beach access, which is nice because parking anywhere at the beach, even most restaurants, is $5/hour. The heated salt water pool was an enormous plus, also very clean. having a balcony off of every room is unusual anymore and was used for morning coffee and people watching. Short walk anywhere and will take the kiddo next time (maybe)."
