"We loved our stay with you. Thank you so much for the upgrade to our room! It was so luxurious to take a bath in the huge bathtub. We really enjoyed the lovely happy hour and breakfasts. All the staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you also for the use of the bikes. We had a wonderful bike ride around the island. We highly recommend this place. So close to many restaurant options, stores, and walking distance to the beach, too. We hope to be back!"

"One big thing to note that you cannot swim on the beach. I didn't know that when I made the reservations and that put a damper on the "beach day" for the kids."

"This is my second time at the Bower. My first time it was amazing and I knew what to expect the second time around. Let me say , it was even better! The staff , amazing ! Everyone was super kind and helpful, I wish I could remember their name ! Room as expected is a bit small but super comfortable bed, toiletry top notch, cool decor ! Very relaxing ! 2 things I wish I had done more is 1) having dinner at the Dive restaurant on the roof top ! Just lovely , great food , nice ocean breeze . 2 )...

"No top sheet on the bed when we checked in. You have to request new towels/sheets and you have to specifically request they make the bed. Charged $30 a day for that “convenience” regardless of whether they do anything. Was not mentioned until check-in. Made our own bed and requested additional towels once: charged 130 dollars for the four days there. Had to ask twice for an itemized invoice of course. Other than that: great location, Mexican place attached was decent, staff was nice, hot tub...

"Fantastic experience! This is an excellent location with walkability to all of the beautiful cafes, shops, beaches, in Coronado. This is a boutique property so does not have the amenities of a massive resorts but we didn't expect that since we were staying across the road from one of the most expensive resorts in California and could walk to their beach. I would stay here again and definitely recommend!"

"Room was exceptionally clean. Plenty of fresh towels and bed was comfortable. The refrigerator came in handy. The only thing I did not care for was the AC. It was louder than I prefer, but thankfully nights were cool so I was able to turn it off. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return. Having a bistro right next door was very convenient and the breakfast was superb."

"The property grounds were OK, the room was disgusting. Carpet was dirty and stained, small room, old dingy wallpaper, leaky tub with mold on ceiling and not enough outlets. We also encountered a cockroach in the room in the middle of the night. Overall the room was gross, I advised staff the next morning of the issues we encountered and the reason for our early check out, and they did everything they could to make. It right. While I appreciated their prompt response I would likely never stay...
