"I had a quiet week at hotel Mary Carman. The room was very clean and quiet, centrally located with very fair pricing. The family owned hotel was quick to lend a hand when keys were lost and recommendations needed. They were fair and honest. Very boho, vintage spaces with old records and gramophones. "The staff was friendly. The lobby bartenders were great. The rooms were spacious and clean. The gym was decent size, and appropriate for the number of rooms. The hotel was in a great location! You could walk to the beach or to 5th avenue where many of the restaurants are. You could also walk to the ferry terminal to go to Cozumel. Only thing I’d change is I miss how the wait staff ito come down to the pool and service they don’t do that anymore and there’s not enough chairs and tables at the pool anymore but hopefully they’ll fix that.
