"A large room with a bar fridge as well as a kettle. There is a microwave in a laundry room on the same level as the accommodation. The TV remote appeared not to work, but I wasn't that interested, so I didn't ask for it to be replaced. Very convenient check-in until 10.00 pm, as the accommodation is part of a pub building. On the same site as a small shopping centre, so there's a Woolworths and lots of free parking."

"A fantastic experience at this fun and unique hotel. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby and bus stops right outside the door. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere, with lots of dining options and playful design touches throughout. The room was beautiful, well thought out, and had everything I needed, including a desk for working. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"My 2nd stay at this unique old mansion that's been converted into a comfortable hotel. This time my room was very compact BUT it had all I needed for a short stay. Excellent location, and breakfast included.
Very comfortable bed and good bathroom, all scrupulously clean. I wish there was a lift but staff always willing to help with luggage. I thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"This place was great ! In a great location and the rooms were very well maintained.
The management were very professional and friendly. The restaurant and food were great and very reasonably priced. The first time in my many years eating on pubs that a medium - rare steak was actually cooked to medium rare. The only point I would make is the bar staff could do with a few lessons in etiquette and customer relations but hey that is young people these days :)"

"Overall not a bad experience but could have been better. Location is great. Bathrooms are shared but mostly clean. Single room (#15) is very tiny and dark but does the job if you only need a place to sleep. Very close to the bathroom though so it can be annoying at times when people slam the door, the exhausting fan constantly going is not very pleasant either. Two other issues: I left the sign to have the room cleared 2 days in a row and no one showed up. I was in the office all day so couldn’t...

"Staff went out of their way to help me with my bags, the room was really lovely and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the beach. Location was amazing. Be aware that it is a venue for live music, the Sunday night I stayed the band was playing downstairs until about 11pm. Would absolutely stay here again!!"

"Great location and the room was clean but that’s about as far as the positives go. The room was very outdated with a tiny bathroom and the tap kept falling off while trying to adjust the shower temperature.
Felt more like a backpackers than a hotel. The key for the front door is easily accessible to the general public if you know where to look and the rooms didn’t lock from the inside.
We thought the hotel looked quirky from the photos but it needs some serious TLC."
