"great stay, yes room was spotless, superb comfy bed , lovely wool carpet, shower to die for nice long bath. All the staff were friendly, professional, helpful. excellent food at sensible prices and individually cooked and served breakfasts with lots of options. 'So impressed I told manager and praised the cleaners personally."

"Everything about this hotel was great. The staff who welcomed us with a glass of Prosecco and advice about where to go and eat. To the beautiful room, lovely and spacious and very clean. A bath and walk-in shower both spotless and powerful. The breakfast was lovely (heated plates a nice touch), only niggle was that it was a limited range of breakfast items out, however being able to order pretty much any breakfast item, cooked fresh was a treat; my poached egg and oak smoked haddock was delicious. We did come for the spa and it didn’t disappoint. It was great putting on your robe in your room and waking down one flight to find yourself in the spa! Plan to return!"

"Lovely hotel with beautiful features. Our Deluxe room had the most incredibly comfortable bed and feather pillows so sleep was excellent. We ate in the bar which was good, plentiful and really tasty - although it took a longer time to come - but that just meant it was cooked for us to order. "
