The staff are a brilliant asset for the hotel, nothing was too much for them and they did it with a smile, sometimes in the face of adversity, I can’t praise them highly enough, my only concern is that the hotel is really in need of an upgrade, in particular the door/key system seriously needs looking at."

"Lovely to have a bath and a shower in the room. Most of the staff were lovely, particularly the breakfast staff including the Spanish chef who went out of her way to get me vegan croissants and the lady who checked us in for breakfast who was very friendly and kind."

"We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again."

"We stayed at don valley hotel because we were picking our son up to bring back to Carlisle we had a drink in the bar and everyone was so friendly and welcoming we met a few regulars Nev what a lovely bloke we spent a few hours talking to him and learning a thing or two and even got us to buy a bottle of the famous Hendersons relish from behind the bar to say we will be back is a definite yes absolutely cracking place and the car park was secure too "
