"This was a great location for our vacation as it was centrally located to the things we wanted to see and do. We took the train to Venice and once we arrived, we needed to purchase tickets outside by the canal for the water bus. The hotel is on a canal which is lovely but it's not where the boat drops you off. You will need to walk about 10 minutes to the hotel. There is no elevator but the hotel has a lot of charm. "This hotel is a gem, and the staff is incredible. The location was great for us. It is close to restaurants where locals actually eat and a short walk to all the major tourist locations. "This gorgeous property was in the heart of the downtown area. Close to everything, everywhere, but not right in front where the boats come in so it's a little quieter. Private water taxi is available to bring you to and from the property if needed. We stayed in the king suite with a canal view and it was amazing! 10/10 will stay here again! "

"Nice little hotel, close to Piazza San Marcos, though not too close to exit the hotel into a sea of people walking. The Alilaguna and vaporetto stations are about 5 minutes walking. We had a wonderful stay. The staff members were extremely nice and accomodating. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and we slept well. The rooms are small, but normal for this city."

"This was our first time visiting Venice, and we quickly learned that you cannot drive a car into the city. We arrived late at night and had to ask around before we were lucky enough to find a place to park. Rolling a 29" luggage and wheely carryon over bridges with stairs is ridiculous and very contrary to a 1st class experience we paid 85 euros to have a water taxi to collect us from the apartment A wardrobe door was broken off its hinges before we arrived making the safe inside unusable dissappointing Felt a little odd to have to remove garbage and clean kitchen before we leave considering the price of...
