The room could have done with some USB portals (there were phone chargers attached to the room's telephone but didn't work to charge my android.) The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. "Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. "This was a huge let down as I booked it for a few friends for my birthday. The lighting in the room is very dim, but not in a good way (it felt very cold). The living space seemed like it wasn't swept and the couch looked stained. It all made for an uncomfortable experience."
