"While the property has beautiful views of Taygaytay lake, the hotel was empty on arrival and it seemed that they were not expecting any guests at the time. While I understand checkin was 3pm and we arrived around noon, it was fairly disappointing that on an empty hotel they were no able to accomodate us for early checkin which wasn't even early at all. We had to wait until 3pm to be able to check in. The rooms while they are okay they are not as nice as pictured. Also the passage ways are right...

"I was looking for a quiet place with great view of the Taal Lake so I could spend a couple of days with my elderly parents before returning the the US. I narrowed down my list to 3 places: the Taal Vista, Lake Hotel and Carmelence View. Boy am I glad I chose Carmelence View! I based my decision after reading the great reviews about the place. The room is very clean. The place is very private and you feel like you are in your own private rest house. The view of the Taal Lake is awesome! And again...

"Un hôtel en construction où ils terminent les derniers bungalows. L'accueil et le service de Janice est irréprochable, mais l'hôtel est situé au milieu de nul part à 5 km de la ville une assurance pour le calme. Les chambres sont très petites, sans réfrigérateur, sans eau chaude, sans même une barre pour faire sécher les serviettes. Le petit déjeuner est fait par Janice mais le thé est absent. "
