"The front reception staff was very nice. The room 808 toilet hanger was loose and didn’t flush properly. I had to open the top of the tank to adjust the water pressure. The bath shower handler came out of the shower. I stayed only one night and it was enough. Hopefully, they fix it first the next customer."

"Stayed at Hotel Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square recently and honestly came away disappointed. The property feels pretty run down compared to the pictures online. Rooms are extremely small even by NYC standards, and the overall hotel lacked basic amenities you would expect at this price point. No pool, no spa, and not even simple touches like slippers in the room. The stay felt more bare-bones than premium. Location is convenient for Times Square, but overall the experience did not match...

"We stayed here during Mother Day weekend 2026 and had the Premium King room. The room was adequately sized, the bathroom was huge and everything was super clean and comfortable. The staff were great and having the onsite restaurant as an option was also a plus. The location was perfect since there was a parking garage immediately across the street and it was less than 1/2 a block away from Times Square. It was extremely convenient and I’d definitely stay here again! "

"Two friends and I stayed here for one night on Mother's Day weekend. The hotel was very well kept and clean, and every staff member I spoke to was helpful and friendly. The room itself was very clean and comfortable with a nice view. I would stay here again, and would recommend the Hyatt to anyone looking for a nice place to stay near Broadway for easy walking access to the theaters (and many other destinations such as Times Square and Rockefeller Center). "
