"We love this hotel! It has great character and the rooms are nice and roomy! On the 2nd floor there is free water, lattes or coffee and other snack items which are available 24 hours a day! There is a small breakfast in the am with a few bakery items and fruit and hard boiled eggs! The hotel has an entrance directly into Tony’s! Which is the best Italian food ever!! Highly recommend Casa Blanca! It’s a gem!"

"This is not my first or even second stay at Sherman’s , and my experience has always been great. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, rooms are well appointed and clean, it feels warm and welcoming. It is wonderful to have this kind of dependable hospitality right in the center of Manhattan. Great job!"

"The hotel is well located- super accessible and the staff is friendly. My major beefs were with the cleanliness of the room and noise. I don’t understand how, with a handheld shower head, there can be someone’s hair on the wall. And even worse, how after another cleaning, that same hair can still be there. Being thorough is a lost art. The noise issues were strange because they weren’t the expected city sounds- it kept sounding like something large was breaking or falling throughout the night....

"I don't know what kind of room it was. There was no space for a luggage. Bathroom door was just a glass door with no locks. How would a person feel safe with their luggage and belongings if there's no space to keep anything safe? Location is great but the stay experience was absolutely poor."

"Hubby and I loved this beautiful hotel. Close to theaters and right around the corner from Times Square. We enjoyed the restaurant and the lounge. The servers at the restaurant could be trained better . Both times they messed up my food order. Same thing happened at the lounge and I’m wondering if it is a language barrier! "The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is walking distance to most everything you would need or want to see. That being said, the hotel itself is very clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. I strongly recommend Luma and I’m really happy I stayed here with my family."

"The proximity to all the things we love was great. Elevators were fast! Staff very helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed the coffee shop and lounge at 7:00 while the rest of my crew slept. Would stay there again. Only concern…low water pressure in shower."

"The rooms are regular, expected, hotel style with older-type wood furnishings. The hallways are excessively dark green. The beds are average in comfort, with just a mattress on top of a platform frame. The even number side of the hotel is quiet to the outside. In 100+ degree weather both the hotel and room HVAC cannot keep up to cool, making the areas feel humid and warmer than expected.
