"Cliffnotes version; Thursday June 11th (tornado warnings) Couldn't get into room until after 8pm (check in 3pm) Desk staff horrendous, on her personal phone while telling me 'there are no rooms available' (due to they're not ready...left that part out) Room was musty (AC was off on a 94degree day, not even the fan to circulate) No shuttle call, had to go to the lobby '5 minutes early' for the desk to call and then wait for the shuttle...forget that extra half hour of sleep you could have gotten,...

"VILE AND DISGUSTING!!!! genuinely the nastiest sess pool of an accommodation you could imagine. There were piss handprints on the walls, as well as dead roach smeared on wall. Doors did not lock well and room had mold on lampshades which is a health hazard. Immediately regretted booking upon seeing it and had to find another hotel. Unsafe area also. "

"This was our first time in Chicago. My sister and I saw this Best Western as a convenient choice for the Pokemon GO! Fest of 2026. Wow, what a beautiful building! Very safe too. The lot is lit so brightly and is next to a small banquet hall so we weren’t scared about coming back to the room very late. The room was beautiful; comfy sheets, updated TV and nice amenities. The staff were so friendly to us upon check-in and held our bags both at check-in and check-out so we could go explore the city...

"The website photos are straight up lies. The words that come to mind for the establishment are dilapidated, dank, poorly constructed, cheap. The ‘fitness center’ consists of two treadmills and a clearly broken cable machine (the cords were loosely strewn all over), half of the ‘breakfast’ was either out of stock or out of order, and trash/ materials meant to be stored away were out and about, obstructing walkways. In my own room, the sliding shower door was improperly installed and would not...

"Management is terrible. The lady that was there when I checked in (said she was the manager) was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Location feels unsafe. Furniture was outdated and unstable. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND."
