"The fitness center & spa was top notch. The on site restaurant had amazing food and service."

"The view of the hotel was different from what was on the website. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste. We called several times and then went to the lobby to ask. The view of the room was facing the wall. One day there was only coffee in the room, the rest of the days there was none. I did not like this hotel at all and I do not recommend it to anyone."

"ROOM LIGHTING CONTROLS: The wall mounted light switch for the vanity opened the window shades. I'm pretty sure this was a malfunction, as this hadn't happened during pasts stays here. WHY THIS MATTERS: When exiting the shower to use the lighted vanity mirror, flipping the switch opened the shades causing me to make a dash back to the protection of the shower. That switch same switch did not close the shades...something only done with tablet control."

"Hands down the best hotel I've stayed at. They were so nice, accommodating the room was amazing, fridge and freezer, had dishes and silverware, and a mini cooktop and dishwasher. Breakfast was fantastic! Something different every day we were there (6 days) including fruit and hot items plus the view was beautiful. Very easy to get anywhere on transit, the 146 took us to shed aquarium, field museum and the planetarium, the 147 dropped you at millennium and grant park, the 151 took you up to...

"This is a new hotel (2024) but you can already see wear and tear. It’s maybe slightly better than a holiday inn. The blanket is a little weird in that’s it’s a fleece between two sheets. It’s clear the fleece isn’t washed between stays as you can see hair. I agree with other reviews that not having card verification on both sides of the elevator is a huge miss. It’s only on the right side so people crowd the right panel. You can’t fault the staff - super nice and polite."

"We stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms (a couple and a solo traveler) and while the location is the hotel's strongest point. It is a historic building in the Loop, walkable to Millennium Park and easy transit access. A few things could be improved. Our check-in experience was a bit awkward as the host assigned the smallest room to the couple rather than the solo traveler, which felt like an oversight. The lobby seating is showing wear, and the in-room bedding instructions were more confusing than they...
