"Love this place . Epic views , jump into cenote Esmeralda right off the dock . Take a boat tour from the friendly staff that operates via the same dock . Sunrise and moonrise over the lake was incredible and worth setting alarms for . A/C worked well and maids cleaned the room sparkly clean . Building is old so there are parts where tiles are loose but that comes with the territory being oldest hotel on the lake. Overall it was an incredible stay and a hard place to leave. I hope to return but we will have to get the private cabin that doesn’t have a drop off the porch as we will be returning with a toddler next trip ."

"I loved this hotel. This was my 3rd time in Bacalar and so far is the best hotel that I have stayed so far. I travel a lot for work and pleasure. This have a great vibe excellent staff. A big plus is their restaurant who had Henry who had an excellent service he brought a lot of value to the service in the hotel and the restaurant. I would say that only details for me was the WiFi, that connection was weak and for a minute when I what to check their tv it was not connection. More pressure on the head shower would be a great. I still give a 5 start because that staff tried to provided help with great attention. "
