If you're looking for luxury, you won't find it here. The hotel has many positives, though: our room and the bathroom were both quite spacious. The large balcony, with its view of the lake, was great. That said, if you have knee issues or are very overweight, the room we had won't work. The steps to get to it are steep. Not an issue, unless it is for you personally. In addition, the hotel has its own access (not a beach) to the lake, with complimentary kayaks and paddleboards. Its proximity to the town (5 min by car) makes it very convenient. The one negative I'd highlight is Wi-Fi. It was never fast enough, and sometimes it barely worked.

The property was definitely not what I expected, Location was nice and it was right on the water, but there is absolutely no view one tiny window. There were holes in the doors only one pillow. Even though it was on the water, the decking, etc., was not in good condition. It was hard to find there’s no name on the door out front.

Impunidad al abrir para desayunar, menu muy escueto, las habitación menciona cafetera y no las tenía. No le corre la vida al señor que nos atendió. Volvería solo que no encontrará nada.

Buena ubicación, personal muy amable, super agradable áreas sociales, habitaciones premium buenas , pero habitaciones básicas muy regulares. El piso muy resbaladizo y peligroso en la ducha y al salir. No hay closed, ni tocador con espejo. Chapas con cerraduras viejas y con maña. Y falta un plástico de piso en la puerta principal para evitar entrada de insectos. Vale la pena el lugar si no sales a Tours temprano, ya que incluyen desayuno bueno después de las 10:00 am, y además el área social es buena. Pero si saldrás temprano todos los días y tu opinión es dormir bien , renta una buena habitación con más servicios en un hotel y hasta más barato.

Excelente opción para disfrutar la hermosa laguna de Bacalar! Muy amable todo el personal y el muelle está increíble, nosotros disfrutamos el amanecer y las tardes en las hamacas y los kayaks y paddleboards incluidos en la reservación. El dueño nos dio excelentes recomendaciones de lugares para comer y visitar en Bacalar, y nos ayudó a reservar un tour en pontón que pasó directo al muelle por nosotros entonces no tuvimos ni que salir del hotel para ese tour por toda la laguna. La habitación era sencilla pero tenía todo lo que necesitamos: una cama y sábanas cómodas, aire acondicionado, frigobar, agua caliente, etc. La reservación incluía desayuno básico de opciones como huevos al gusto, crepas o hot cakes. El lugar es pequeño por lo que puedes tener privacidad en el muelle si no hay mucha gente hospedada.

La estancia fue increible, el hotel esta a orilla de la laguna cosa que te permite ver los amaneceres majestuosos que ofrece Bacalar, tiene kayaks gratuitos y amacas. La habitacion es cómoda, estaba limpia y tiene aire, tv y un mini frigobar. Incluye desayunos en el resta de al lado, y la distancia al pueblo era corta y segura. El personal son muy atentos y tuvimos oportunidad de conocer al dueño y se portó increible, estamos muy agradecidos y contentos con la experiencia de habernos hospedado en la Joya. Gracias!!! Definitivamente lo recomendamos

El desayuno que nos ofreció el dueño pésimo. Aparte, de que atienden hasta las 10 esta muy lejos de la plaza por si no llegas en coche tendrás que pagar para ir a comer y cenar.

Hubo mucho ruido, tanto de los otros huespedes, como de las escaleras. No habia Shampoo en la regadera, los desayunos dejan mucho que desear, y es un problema para que te hagan llegar la factura de tu pago. Ademas contratamos un Tour que iniciaria a la 11:30 am e inicio a la 1:30 pm. La tarifa no corresponde a los servicios recibidos.

Tiene mucho potencial.

Lo bueno: La habitación es muy bonita. El propietario se portó muy amable en todo momento, y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier situación. La vista es hermosa. Y es un lugar bastante tranquilo. Cuenta con frigobar y cafetera. Además de estar climatizado. Tienen salvavidas y kayak para usar sin costo extra. Lo "malo": Está algo retirado de la zona centro (recomendado ir en auto). Por la mañana no había agua caliente. La televisión no tiene preinstaladas aplicaciones de streaming pero ninguna tiene una cuenta del hotel para ver alguna película o serie. Las hamacas están algo viejas y rotas. Área se oportunidad: Considero que contar con bicicletas como en otros alojamientoa ayudarían a elevar la experiencia para poder ir y venir al centro. En general tuve una muy buena experiencia en este hotel.

Las habitaciones individueles pesimas, cuando reclame nos pasaron a otras mucho mejores pero tenia mal olor, el drenaje estaba malo, la primera noche no hubo agua potable, llegue a las17:00 y las habiataciones estaban en reparacion, el camino estaba en reparacion, el personal muy amable pero las instalaciones estaban para llorar,
paredes en mal estado y con mucha humedad
puertas totalmente expuestas al exterior
no habia visto un baño tan pequeño, literal no podias lavarte la cara
