"The experience was unique, stopping in Lumley Castle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This was a bed for the night while visiting Beamish, 11 minutes away. Beautiful setting and grounds. We didn’t have breakfast or evening meal but would definitely go again for the full experience. Thankyou for our time there."

"In the description it stated self parking included, washer and dryer. There was no parking. We had to park in a structure 10 + minutes away at an additional $10 cost. There was only a washing machine, and the machine was not hooked up to the water. After contacting the owner, they did not know why it was not hooked up, and when asked about the dryer, stated there was no dryer, places do not have dryers. However out of 4 nights of our stay one night sleep was interupted by noisy guests returning to their room at 1 pm followd by another gentleman swearing, yelling and banging for at least 30 minutes at 2/3pm. there was allso some functions held at the venue where resident guest parking was made difficult by the sheer number of cars parking for the functiobns.
