"We enjoyed our stay. However out of 4 nights of our stay one night sleep was interupted by noisy guests returning to their room at 1 pm followd by another gentleman swearing, yelling and banging for at least 30 minutes at 2/3pm. there was allso some functions held at the venue where resident guest parking was made difficult by the sheer number of cars parking for the functiobns. "Do not stay here, it needs demolishing. If you are desperate for somewhere to sleep consider getting a sleeping bag and sleeping on the streets! It was a walk in, walk out and find another hotel scenario!"

"I stayed for two nights with my wife, bed and breakfast. We had one of the chalets out the back which was very clean and cosy. The facilities are first class and the staff were great. The food was superb, reasonably priced and large portions. The breakfast was very good with a ample choice."

The experience was disappointing from arrival: waited ~15 minutes outside due to lack of staff support and found access confusing with multiple locks. The listing was misleading—what I expected to be a self-contained apartment had key facilities (sofas/TV) in a communal area, and the room itself was very small. The shower was lukewarm and the holder broken, so it had to be handheld. The bed was too small for a 6-ft adult....

"The whole process of being able to stay there was awful. I had emails asking me to verify my identity but no correct link sent. I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked. Having finally been sent a link I verified and arrived to be told this was very common. At the property Fire Doors were constantly janmed open."

"Stunning castle location, as its well over 100 years old wonky floors should be expected. Our ground floor room was right next to some stairs which I thought might have been a problem but apart from the odd guest with diving boots on early on we didn't get disturbed. You get what you pay for and as such the restaurant was a bit pricey but the food was excellent and the staff very pleasant. The grounds are very picturesque with a golf course next door. Well worth a visit."
