"Have stayed here quite a few times but this one was not as good.
Of the 3 lifts one was working and at breakfast things could have been better organised. There was a large queue to get in but many of the tables were unavailable due to needing clearing rather than having people on them.
There were two coffee machine yet only one worked.
Food at the Grill was OK but could have been a bit better.
The room was clean and the bed comfy. The staff were good and the live music in Merlin’s bar...

"I loved the uniqueness and traditional architecture of this hotel. Staff was amazing and kind, food and drinks very good, and location very convenient, close to Roman baths. "

"Check-in and check-out process were smooth. All the hotels staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms and bathroom are spacious. We will definitely return! "

"Great stay at this property. The room was large and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. A very modern bathroom although the extractor fan could have been more powerful to dry the bathroom. We couldn’t work out the air conditioning but it wasn’t too warm in the room. It was quiet at night and the curtains made the room dark so easy to sleep. The staff were very friendly and we had a cooked breakfast the next morning. The location is great and only about a 10 minute walk into the city...
