"Staff was not on property as it is off seasons, but kind, accommodating and polite. The checkin was easy, bed was very comfortable, location was very practical. The rooms are small but functional. We disliked the lack of shower curtain, bad smell of bathroom and the fact that there is zero soundproofing. We were bothered by noise from other rooms etc."

"This hotel is very old you feel like you are in 1970’s. The outside look nice but inside it feels like you are in your grandma’s house. NO HOT WATER, no shower door, no working coffee pot at breakfast, breakfast was no good and the room key had a weight on in that had to be returned to the desk when you left the hotel."

"Utrolig fin utsikt og hyggelig personale. God mat. Fint rom, men badet var slitt og ikke blitt pusset opp på lenge. Måtte dusje i et badekar uten forheng, så hele badet var fylt med vann etter en dusj. Var også dårlig med belysning ute på kvelden, men det kom etter noen dager. "Spent three days on Skopelos Island traveling alone. I stayed in Glossa at the Aegean Wave Hotel and loved everything about it. I enjoy the exceptional service provided by the owners of the hotel. My room and the restaurant had breathtaking views of the sea, glossa village, and other islands. It’s not directly in Glossa, but you’ll need a car or motorbike to get around the island anyway. Fabulous hotel with an amazing manager
"We had to seek emergency accommodation after the floods and were lucky to get a suite/room at the Somnia. Nobody had wifi so the owner couldn't tell if our booking was real or not but let us stay for longer than our booking until we could safely get off the island. The room was huge and had a dining and kitchen area too. He put his team in to emergency clean up mode as the island had flooded and there was a lot of mess and damage at the hotel at ground floor level. We had no running water or flushes but the owner and his partner were so helpful and kind when they were under immense stress and pressure. It was really sad to see the destruction. The location was great for the port, probably better than our main hotel booking (Punta) so we may book at this hotel next year."
