"The hotel is cozy and very pet friendly. The decor feels like a old German home. Bed was comfy and room was clean. My favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant downstairs. I have a pork and noodles which was AMAZING! My dog was even able to hang in the restaurant. Morning breakfast was very good. "

We were told we had to inform them of arriving after 8pm but this was not mentioned in our Hotels.com reservation. The following morning reception called us to offer us advice on the surrounding area as we did not have any time during a normal check in process. I thought that this was a very nice touch. "Hotel is classic Black Forest style had a lovely meal one of the evenings in their restaurant. The rooms were lovely, nice large and clean. Plenty of parking either in their car park or across the road next to the river. My only comment would be that the sauna isn’t signposted I think you must have to ask, same goes for the tennis courts. The only negative would be the road it is on isn’t the quietest. We did have a nice time. "

"Overall overpriced for what you get. Beautiful area but 40 minute drive to Triberg and at least 10 to Titisee-Neustadt. The hotel is charming and traditionally decorated and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would have eaten dinner there but there were a crazy amount of flies in the restaurant. Most importantly this hotel does NOT have mini golf, fishing or a golf range on site even though these are listed as amenities. Also not sure that they should...

"Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."

"This was a nice hotel for some down time. It is out in a more rural area and super quiet. There is a nice patio or balcony on each room to have a drink, enjoy the scenery and relax for a bit. We had been travelling for days and it was nice to just unwind for a night. We ate at their restaurant which served authentic German food which was really good. The price point for this hotel is more than reasonable for the quality of service snd comfort. "
