"We had a wonderful stay. Piece and quiet area. Lots to visit and see. Wine/beer tasting nearby. Hotel is newly established. Contemporary style, comfortable beds. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. There is a bakery at the premises, and it's possible to bake your own bread there. Personnel is friendly and welcoming. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for a weekend getaway… so inconvenient to get to some of the winery for tastings, but make the best of it…."
