"The Vintage House is a beautiful hotel located conveniently on the banks of the Douro River where the tour boats depart. The rooms are very well appointed and the entire hotel ,pool and grounds are wonderfully maintained. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the dining staff on the outdoor terrace provided very attentive service. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the menu for lunch and dinner had a great selection of food & wine. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it to others."

"We have had a great time at Pena Park Hotel. Definitely recommend, good food, friendly and helpful staff. We had few activities booked at the nearby Pena Aventura and it was quite relaxing to go back to the hotel and relax by the swimming pool. We will definitely go back! "We had a lovely restful visit here. We've been to Douro Valley before and just wanted to relax and chill this time, we got exactly that. Pool area is great with a well maintained toilet/changing/shower block next to it and the views are amazing. We didn't go out in the evening, just had lovely meals on the terrace, but Pinhao is only a ten minute drive. Easy to find with Google maps 👍"

"My family and I had a fantastic 3-night stay at Delfim Douro Hotel. The room was immaculate, spacious, and featured a very comfortable bed with high-end linens. Every one room with a cute balcony. The front desk representative went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Breakfast had a great variety of fresh options to start the day with a good mood. Dining at our hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff was attentive and kind. The elegant atmosphere provided the perfect setting for a relaxed evening. The location of the Hotel is unbeatable. Wonderful viewing the beauty of Nature we were admiring from the terrace and balcony. The way the colors blend into each other is spectacular; it looks like a painting. We had an unforgettable experience and will absolutely be staying here again."

"Lovely clean spacious room with all the facilities we required. We did use the pool while at the hotel and thought it was excellent with plenty of sun loungers. We had breakfast at the hotel and the food was tasty and plenty of choice. We didn’t have an evening meal so can’t comment on main meals. Overall excellent value hotel and I would have no hesitation in booking again if I’m ever in Chaves."
