"All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner."

First the good....few employees are 5 STAR: 1) Miss Mayan from the Reception is nice, polite, helpful, speaks good English. 2) Miss Rara from the Reception is nice and polite. 3) Mr. Harry for the Cafe/Restaurant is nice, polite. Auf dem Gang zum Zimmer waren riesige Schmutz-Fleicken am Boden, im Zimmer roch es stark nach kalten Rauch, der Boden war an mehreren Stellen kaputt, die Toilette und die Dusche waren so dreckig das ich mich dort nicht duschen wollte. "Kamer was sober maar schoon. Faciliteiten erg slecht. Er was geen personeel wat engels sprak. Wij hadden iedere keer bij de receptie een bewaker zitten die helemaal niet verstond. Ander personeel niet gezien. Ontbijt was slecht en hadden geen keuze gekregen de avond ervoor dus kregen volgende ochtend zomaar wat.
