"Great vacay at an awesome place. The staff very friendly and bent over backwards to help with anything we needed. Nice, relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that we felt needed improvement were more items on the lunch menu in the little restaurant and it was kind of a bummer there were no snacks out at the pool area but that may be because of the iguanas and other animals that food might attract. Other than that, it was a great week of rest and relaxation!! The resort has everything! No need to leave!!"

"Gracias a todo el personal que labora en este lugar, Estamos agradecidos por las atenciones que nos brindaron y el profesionalismo de cada uno de los empleados que nos hacen pasar días muy agradables, llegamos con temor de las malas noticias del tiempo, pero todo fue diferente, pasamos unos días con un clima Padrisimo, lo referente a la limpieza excelente, servicio en todo al instante y atencion en Restaurantes de lo mejor, nos encantó la comida, nos estaremos preparando para otra visita, también nuestros amigos y familiares quieren visitarles, hay 2 personas que nos aprendimos sus nombres Miguelito y Óscar sin dejar fuera a los demas todos muy amables, gracias por sus atenciones y hacernos pasar dias muy agradables olvidándonos de los huracanes que ahí no pasó nada, muy bien todo, gracias y espero pronto visitarlos y nuestras amistades también, DLB y mucho éxito en todo"

"We have stayed at Tropicana Hotel frequently over the last twenty years during vacations to Puerto Vallarta. The location is amazing, but the hotel is showing signs of aging. Tiles are missing from the pools. Prices per room are much higher, and the food service is just adequate. Considering the hotel is charging 40% higher prices than last time we were here, it seems like a good time to consider 3-star alternatives."
