The interior is beautiful, the private hot tub was a bonus, and it was so clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful; they arranged our luggage transfer for us and were helpful with various queries. "This hotel is centrally located as the bus is across the street as well as Nijo Castle. Mornings you could walk the perimeter. Nearby local type shops like a coffee shop to eat, noodle spot, konbini, and can walk to Nishiki Market. Along the way to Nishiki, there will be local restaurants to eat so you can dodge the touristy types if u want. Staff are extremely helpful. Luggage travel service was great. Used the laundry service to save time. It was well done as well as each day our room...
