"This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the room decor, in room amenities, etc. But the negatives were the overpriced parking costs and also the location. The vagrants, homeless, drug addicts all around the entrance, alley ways, public areas in front of the hotel were disgusting. They even keep the main door locked cause of all the issues. Venice beach in general is disgusting. They really need to clean up that area to be charging those kind of prices."

While the location is excellent, the property itself feels ancient, the rooms are small and not especially functional, and the dining options are quite limited. Overall, aside from its convenient location, the hotel did not meet the expectations we had for a property in this category."

"Inconsistent communications regarding the rollaway bed. One said they didn’t have one, one said they did but was in use with another guest. Clarifying the actual price of the rollaway should be in their info page. The staff was nice but difficult to understand when speaking in the phone."

"This place is a dump. The room we were shown had brown paper taped up over the windows under the curtains. Loud construction was ongoing. We did not stay. Definitely NOT a 3.5 star motel."

"The bathroom and kitchen was pretty nice. The lobby smelled like there was a plumbing issue (waste water smell). The walls are paper thin and since our room was immediately opposite the lobby entrance we could hear every single guest coming and going including a group that arrived at 1am. The property is located next to subsidized living and there were homeless people swearing and yelling all night. I suggest you stay closer to Santa Monica if you want a better experience."
