"The Shell Beach Inn is a wonderful little boutique hotel! We love the layout of the rooms and they are well stocked! They have a great pool and chairs to hang outside of f you choose. We love that you can walk around all of Shell Beach!"

"This was an exceptional property and experience. We were there overnight on our road trip and wish we could have stayed another night or more. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and lovely. The balcony was amazing and the pool area was relaxing. If you are looking for accommodations in this area you should certainly consider staying here."

"The parking lot entrance was super steep which was startlingly but doable on a motorcycle. The staff was very sweet. The patio out front was a nice place to eat breakfast and the laundry room was wonderfully convenient. There is no soap available so we walked 3 blocks to a market and got some supplies. The room itself was compact but comfortable with fridge, microwave and a little coffee maker. The ocean is at the end of the block. We would stay here again."

"The hotel was under construction and although the construction crew finished at 5pm, the concrete plates on the street were constantly being driven over at night and it was so loud. The hotel was charming, the little happy hour with small treats and beverage at 5pm was lovely. The breakfast was so thoughtful and charming."

"The hotel was fine, but the A/C in the room did not work. Staff at front desk said they would try and get it fixed tomorrow, which doesn't help when only staying one night. Asked to move to a room with working A/C, told this wasn't possible and also told that it's a cool night so just open the windows."

"The hotel provides great breakfast which is satified and healthy. I skiped it on the first day but immidaitely regret when I tried it on the 2nd day. Be aware the noisy at night, the hotel is near a bank parking lot which could be noisy at night. That's the only downside for me to stay here."

"This was our first family trip to Pismo Beach. My family loved it. The breakfast provided many food options, and the cookies in the evening were a nice touch. The pool has an amazing view of the beach, and there's a great stairway from the hotel to the beach. They have great firepits and BBQ stations for grilling if needed. Late checkouts are offered based on availability for a small fee."
