Inn at the Cove

"This was our first time staying at this hotel, and it was worth every penny!! I had only one issue and that might have been my own fault. I booked a partial ocean view overlooking the pool, the photo looked like it was on the 2nd floor, for the perfect ocean view. I should have double checked that prior to booking! The room was sadly on the first floor, with a limited view of the ocean, and just a little too close to people by the pool. I went to the front desk and was pleased to be able to upgrade to a full ocean view on the 2nd floor, for a minimal $30.00. The staff were amazing, the breakfast was super yummy. The room had everything you need and the bed was very comfy. Pool and jacuzzi were perfect, and they had Thursday night music on the bluff, and wine tasting. We had a hard time leaving the balcony and the ocean view, and the pelicans flying right infront of us. We will certainly come back to The Inn at the Cove, when we return to Pismo Beach next year, maybe even book two nights, its that nice."

"We upgraded to a two bedroom suite in the old Shore Cliff side of the Pacific Point hotel - the newly refurbished room was beautiful and our balcony had the best view I've ever seen anywhere in the world - absolutely spectacular. Loved spending time on it and saw dolphins and whales. Beds were comfy and we slept well. On the downside, the kitchenette wasn't well equipped or easily useable - it had a microwave and large fridge but loads of practically empty cupboards (no cutlery, very few pieces of crockery) and - most bizarrely - no sink to wash up in! We'd brought some deli food for dinner but as there were no plates we had to eat out of some small coffee cups we found and when these were taken away by housekeeping the next day, they weren't replaced. When we requested cutlery from reception we were given plastic knives and forks which were pretty useless for chopping and not great from an environmental perspective."
