"Location was convenient, next to the station.
However had to keep the window closed with the subway noise and trash smell.
Otherwise, for the rate the room was fine.
Check in/out was via machine."

"Staff was friendly and accommodated our late checkin. Not a lot of amenities compared to my stay in Super Hotel Osaka but they have the basic amenities. Room was clean and tidy. Close to fuji station and commute is a breeze."

"The staff were very kind at this location. I did not mind removing our shoes before entering the guest floors since it kept things extermely sanitary. Breakfast was never overcrowed. City Hall is across the street and if it isn't cloudy, you'll get a great view of the mountain. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"Kuretake Inn Fujisan was a nice spot to stay in and had a lot to offer. There were nice spa facilities, plenty of amenities (even manga to read), and a lovely breakfast every morning. The rooms were kept tidy and the staff were very helpful and kind. I would stay again."

"No information on website that all rooms are not wheelchair accessible and have STAIRS! We have big luggages so need to solve problems of getting on stairs.
No staff at the place and no CCTV in risk zones, that i wonder it is quite dangerous in case other guests does not lock the house, or have intention to do crime to other guests who share the same house.
Good points are free self-service laundry and dryer, the classic ancient style of Japanese house sharing 4-5 rooms of stay.

"This was a great choice that balanced cost with exactly what I needed: clean room, good amenities… and the unexpected stroke of good luck… my room had a view of Mount Fuji!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a beautiful view of Lake Ashi. The location is lovely albeit a bit more secluded/farther away, right by the lake, with Mount Fuji visible on clear days. The hotel feels a bit dated (think 70s charm) but is well maintained and slightly upscale.
There’s a free shuttle to Odawara Station, but taxis must be booked in advance through the hotel. The dinner buffet was solid—good variety and tasty food. Nearby attractions include Hakone’s small aquarium and zoo (about 5 minutes away), and the famous floating torii gate and shrine, which is around a 20-minute walk through the woods. Go early—the lines get long!"
"A delightful cabin next to the lake with views of Mount Fuji (although our ground floor apartment had restricted views because of the trees - but not all ground floor apartments had this problem). The hot spring bath and foot spa were utterly delightful though and the projector was a nice touch to relax after a day of walking, even if I would have rather been looking at Fuji, my daughter loved it. "
