"This hotel experience from check in to check out was exemplary. Our room was a delight, comfortable, direct view of Fuji, the lounging bed by the window, the amenities in the room and the Japanese customs that we were to experience were all outstanding. Our private outdoor mineral bath was wonderful. We really enjoyed the special dinner with many courses of mostly new foods that we never had before. Exquisite. What a treat. We would definitely make it a point when returning to Japan to plan more days here to enjoy the beautiful gardens and atmosphere. Thank you so much."

"I absolutely loved this hotel- I've been to 6 of the 7 continents and I've stayed in some really nice places. This hotel is equal to or grater than any of the other places. The location, rooms, grounds, and staff were some of the best I've ever experienced. If you want a true taste of "old Japanese" culture, this is it."

"Location is nice. Close proximity to the bus stop with a Family Mart right next door. 10 min bus ride to the ropeway. The rooms are big and the private onsen was the perfect way to start the morning and relax after a day outdoors. Beer on tap & you can mix your own drinks. "This was the best place we stayed after visiting three different areas. There was plenty of space for our whole family and upgrade features were nice. The hot tub/cold plunge area was amazing and I can't say enough good things. This location is a bit remote, so we struggled to get larger ride shares, but there was plenty of room for us and luggage on an early morning bus ride. Restaurants close early and there is no konbini nearby. Perfect location for the Hakone Loop."

"Room itself - mountain view bunk bed for 2 adults and 1 child. Excellent. Breakfast options good however only 1 child menu option. Whilst fresh towels were provided daily, room cleaning was only every 3rd day. Hotel does not facilitate baggage transfers to other hotels. Based price, I would have expected room clean at least every other day and luggage transfer support services."
