"We had a superb experience staying at The Grand Hotel in Taipei. Among hotels of similar level, this one stands out for its thoughtful service and attention to detail.
The staff were consistently warm and helpful — from the front desk and concierge to the transportation team, restaurant servers, cleaning staff, and luggage attendants. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
What impressed us most was how comprehensive the services were. The hotel helped us arrange taxis, airport shuttles, and even a private driver for a day trip outside of Taipei, which was the highlight of our stay. They also offer on-site currency exchange, which was very convenient.
The hotel itself is true to its name — grand in design, well-maintained, and very clean. There's a real sense of history and elegance throughout the property.
For the level of comfort and service provided, we felt the price was more than fair. It was excellent value for the experience we had.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-run place to stay in Taipei.

"We stayed here before and returned when we are back at Beitou. I would say this is probably the most reasonable place for 3 people with a room with inside hotspring. Hotel is clean, breakfast is good and staff are friendly. Recommended!"
"My stay there was very comfortable as a solo traveler. The location was near two great malls with excellent restaurants. There was a food court (not associated with the hotel) right on the ground floor. The hotel also had great service & their happy hour at the bar/lounge upstairs was unexpectedly very nice too."
