"Lovely stay at the Westbourne, we were attending a wedding in the Lakes and stayed for 2 nights. The en suite was spotless, comfortable bed and pillows. We had breakfast on the second morning which was great value and quality. Really is great value for money, with friendly staff and an easy check in experience. Would definitely recommend."

"We made a late booking for a one-night stay and Carla was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and there's ample on-street free parking. Well located between Windermere and Bowness, and only a short walk to the lake. (Room 1 does not have a door separating the bedroom and bathroom, if that is an issue for you.) "

"Ivythwaite Lodge is a beautiful house with many original features. It was a bonus to have a fridge in the room. "Really enjoyed our stay. Location was great in between Windermere and Bowness, easy walk to both. Lovely breakfast and charming room. Very quaint. About 15 rooms, they are not huge rooms and have a small bathroom. Only weird thing was the hotels direction on map led us to a completely different place so we arrived at the wrong accommodation at first. Would recommend Woodlands, we liked it a lot. "
