"Dit hotel is natuurlijk prachtig historisch, maar wij vonden de prijs-kwaliteit niet goed. Erg duur voor de kwaliteit van bijvoorbeeld onze badkamer. Deze was te vergelijken met een badkamer in een oude stacaravan. De kamer zelf was wel mooi, klein maar fijn. Ontbijt was goed, maar voor bijna 500 euro voor 3 nachten verwacht je net wat meer."

"The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing."

"I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered. Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!! Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. "

"Mixed review. The room was clean, even if a bit dated. The bathroom could have been better for the room rate. The mira shower was similar to the one I had at home more than 20 years ago. The pillows were firm and of poor quality for a room costing over £300 per night but the bed was comfy. The longe area had a fabulous sea view and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The parking was easy. The breakfast was a bit sparce for £40 but cooked very well. We would stay again if on the area."

"The property met our needs well. They gave excellent communication about our arrival questions eforehand. Things to be aware. It's down a very long drive so best use sat nav to locate the turning. There isn't a bar as far as we could tell. More guest house than hotel, which is fine. Its minimally staffed at the front desk so best to call ahead if youre arriving late. Bed was comfortable but the wooden frame projects at the corners and both myself and my wife bashed our shins! A word of...

"Friendly staff really wanted us to have a good stay"

"We had a wonderful stay in this property. Fantastic location right on the seafront - we had a sea view from our spacious family room. We needed to check in very late and we contacted the hotel to make sure this wasn’t a problem - the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and our late check in was not an issue. Good range of choice for breakfast - cereals, fruit, yogurt, croissants and pastries, meats and cheese plus a hot buffet. We have only given 4 stars for the property condition...
