"We checked in late due to our car breaking down at Stansted airport and needing a place to stay for the night. We were met with very friendly and welcoming staff who upgraded our room straight away and made us feel at home after a very stressful day! Drinks at the bar with a cheese board in the evening was just what we needed, and the breakfast was gorgeous. All in all a very lovely stay at the Gem. "

"Hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. It's in a very good position if you want to get into Cambridge as we did. The park and ride is only a few minutes away and excellent. But it did seem very impersonal that there was no one around during the day to go to if there was any problem. Our bed was made but the bathroom wasn't touched so no clean towels, floor mat or the sink cleaned which is what we'd expect from a hotel. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice for...
