Only two reasons for not getting 5 stars; no plug sockets by the bed… why? Had to charge my phone across the room. They had USB sockets but not all devises use USB! The second reason is the shuttle is £4 each way… I think that’s too much. Apart from these things though, great hotel. It’s clean and modern. The check-in was quick and efficient and the staff friendly and helpful.

Staff and amenities were 4* however there were a few disappointments....the sofa bed was made up so we had to fold this back to a sofa to have more room space as there was only 2 of us. The pillows were uncomfy.The smoke alarm was in my eyeline while trying to sleep and flashing constantly. I don't sleep well anyway so a poor night before our travels. I appreciate this is for our safety but does it have to flash as many don't. Also there was no lime codial on the bar for my lager and lime so a small slice of fresh lime to added which made no difference. The bar and dining area lacked character or personality. The shuttle bus was perfectly on time and the check in staff very professional. Overall we were happy with our stay and hope our observations helpful .
