Friendly family run accommodations with comfortable rooms. I had a light supper and a generous glass of wine, then spoke for awhile with the proprietor. It’s well located with lots to do in the general area.

Really nice accommodation for a great price. Room with King size bed, mini fridge with small kitchenette, bathroom, and shower. The place was very clean. Nice breakfast area as well. Price was excellent. I would definately stay there again.

Our host was really kind and helpfull. The interior of the rooms seemed a little bit old, but everything was clean. Nice place to spend your first day in Costa Rica because it is close to the airport. Dinner and breakfast are homemade and very tasty!

I loved everything about this property and our stay here. We only got to stay one night, but would highly recommend it if you’re in the San Jose area. The owner, William and his wife and their daughter did an amazing job taking care of everything we needed. William, especially was able to help us set up travel to the airport so that we were at the airport on time.

There was nothing not to love about this property. It was beautiful, had a convenient option for breakfast and dinner, and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The host, William, was an excellent resource for fun things to do (he also makes the most delicious meals). He was very accommodating and friendly, and we can't wait until our next visit.

We were in the front lower room and loved the architecture of the room with arches in it and even a little kitchenette. It is in a road that is busy during the day but at night it was pretty quiet and the rooms walls are solid so they mute the noise.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruta Verde. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and it had a great view with the surrounding hills and the city, exactly as advertised. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed delicious food made just for us on the spot. It was the perfect location for our one night stay on our way to other parts of the country. I can see myself returning there if I need a stay in San Jose.

My wife and I stayed here for one night before our flight home the next day. The property itself is extremely nice and the view from our room was gorgeous. The host, his wife, and daughter were extremely nice. The breakfast and dinner were incredible. I highly recommend the chicken lasagna. This bed and breakfast is only 20 minutes from SJO airport so very convenient to stay either when you first arrive to CR or when you are leaving. I definitely recommend this place.
