"We really liked the old and historic feel of the place. It was old, yet it had most modern amenities. The restaurant/bar is located on the premises with a lovely courtyard in the back, near the parking. The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning our room each day."

"Came here for our anniversary. This place is a 10. From the amazing staff to the beautiful well appointed rooms the fantastic 12 o’clock standard checkout. The bed was absolutely delicious. We stayed in the Omar Sharif Room. I highly recommend it. Amazing value. And it’s close to all the fun. We will truly always make it a part of our relationship to come back here."

"My guest and I were surprised at the space. The room was far more spacious than I had imagined and the view was amazing. Located right on Sunset. The kitchen and bathroom were more than ample for my stay and I will be rebooking."

"I’ve stayed at the W before and have enjoyed my experience. I booked my daughter a room for her bday and she was asked for a $500 deposit for one night! That is insane and I wasn’t aware nor communicated about this deposit beforehand. Additionally the room wasn’t available at the time of check in. Pretty disappointed to say the least."

"For what it is, it was a good Hotel. Building and room were clean. Close to Hollywood Bowl(which we attended a concert) and very close to Walt of fame. I would come again."

"The rooms were clean, I liked the retro look of the whole place. You have to have your car parked via valet, which is fine, because you know it will be safe. Valet attendants were very friendly and fast. Room was not ready at check in. Once we did get our keys, they handed the keys and that was it. No info on where the room was, nothing on WiFi, nothing. Just here’s the keys, thank you. There is a very cute on-site retro restaurant/cafe which was nice. The service there was great."

"The stay was perfectly fine. Rooms are clean, modern and definitely work. The only that bothered me is that I had a $15 credit for food and drinks. At checkin they told me to just charge something to my room and they’ll apply it. I only spend one day but went down to get a latte at the cafe, went back up to the room to finish packing and getting ready. "The luggage cart dented my car!!! Uneven sidewalk in front of the property made it impossible to off load my car. Parking is not on the property. The room was very nice but there is street noise."
