"Beautiful property, like staying in amongst the rainforest. We took the night hike (extra$) and saw some cool stuff. The larger pools are family pools with 2 smaller ones for adults only. Food at the bar is expensive ($27 USD for a club sandwich) . They do 1 hour happy hour each night. Overall, the setting and resident sloths make it special."

"This property is stunning. It's one of the only hotels in the area with direct access to a beach. Our time at Shana was extremely relaxing and enjoyable - everything from the pool, to the daily happy hour, the included breakfast, and helpful front desk was top notch. They even went above and beyond to help us book memorable excursions. Couldn't recommend this hotel more!"

"This hotel was great! The Igloo shaped rooms were so unique. The beds were comfortable and showers clean. Rooms had mini fridges, TVs, privacy blinds/windows, alarm clocks, and a diffuser. The pool and restaurant were also great. The staff were all so friendly, and the location was a very short walk to the beach. Very much recommended!"

"Lovely atmosphere with private feel yet still very close to beach and park. Breakfast on site was good and many places to eat within walking distance. The nature walk on property feels more 'jungle' then the trails in the park itself. We had two rooms side by side which worked well for our family of four. Pool area is very nice with shaded palapas. Trail at end of parking lot to beach which is flat and off the main road. Highly recommend if you want a smaller, quiet resort within easy walking distance to beach. "

"What a lovely hotel! It was an unforgettable experience. From our patio, we saw so many birds, lizards, monkeys - it felt like we were living in the forest. Our room was on top of the hill and we had a beautiful view. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It was very convenient to have the restaurant on campus. The location is walkable to grocery stores, ATMs, the beach, etc. 10/10 would definitely recommend."
