"This is an amazing property with a terrific staff. My wife and I had a wonderful time. When we checked in there was a sloth and a macaw right outside our room. We really enjoyed the monkeys. I give them a 10/10. Only negative would be the beach that is within taking distance of the resort. It's a long treacherous walk down a rocky slippery hill where you are eventually met by a couple of unfriendly locals trying to rent you a chair, in our case for $20. We declined. There is sand on the beach...

"This is an amazing property with a terrific staff. My wife and I had a wonderful time. When we checked in there was a sloth and a macaw right outside our room. We really enjoyed the monkeys. I give them a 10/10. Only negative would be the beach that is within taking distance of the resort. It's a long treacherous walk down a rocky slippery hill where you are eventually met by a couple of unfriendly locals trying to rent you a chair, in our case for $20. We declined. There is sand on the beach but as soon as you hit water it's nothing but rocks, rocks, rocks. Water was great though! Don't let this part deter you, just have them shuttle you to the main beach at Manuel Antonio! "
