The view from the balcony is amazing. The dorm bed was comfortable, toilet facilities were great. Kitchen was good as well although could use new kitchen utensils/pots/pans as what was available were quite destroyed/melted. Overall great dorm!

You can do better in the area

Not what we expected based on reading reviews. Pros: amazing view and the people running the place were friendly Cons: it was basically like staying at an old house, no amenities, etc. no ice, old towels, no ac, small pretty uncomfortable bed. They would do better to fix the place up some as there are many hotels in the area for a bit more that are much nicer including several closer to beach. We were glad we only stayed one night.

Macaws!

We stayed 5 nights in one of the bungalows with kitchen facilities. The view from our patio was awesome, with fantastic sunsets and lots of birds, including a pair of scarlet macaws that regularly flew by! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about tours and activities. Small restaurant on site seems reasonably-priced.Public bus stop for Manuel Antonio Park or Quepos is a 5 minute walk away ( no sidewalk tho!)

Dejlig hostel - men venligt personale. Flot udsigt fra hostel - hvor man kan se solnedgangen og papegøjer som flyver omkring. Nemt at tage lokal bus ned til manuel Antonio.
