"The hostel atmosphere itself was great. It very safe to require a keycard to enter the premises. The rooms were maintained nicely and the layout was clean. I was in town for a conference down the street and got incredibly lucky to be placed in the same room as someone also attending the conference. I think my experience at the hostel was better because of that. I did find two of the female hostel staff to be rude. I had messaged the property Tuesday evening asking if a room would be available...

"This hotel is nice, however it feels that they use exclusive memberships to prioritize rooms and experience. We had some issues in the room, and while they were receptive and accommodating, it feels like these things slip because they're trying to impress the membership guests. "

I messaged the hotel on the Expedia app to let them know to ensure we were not considered a no show. Once we finally made it to the hotel, the person at the front desk informed us they did consider us a no show and cancelled the booking. "Great location and converted old Virgin Hotel. Room was fine and hotel basics were fine. There wasn’t any room service daily or for my 3 night stay. There was a strike for housekeepers and they were LOUD out front everyday. Not sure what the hotel fee was for on top of Expedia hotel charge was for, they gave me 2 waters the first day and that was it. They also upsell their vacation club/time share a lot, kinda odd."
