"This was our first time at this hotel. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The location was superb. It is close to Washington square park and NYU( where we were visiting). We easily walked to restaurants and shops. The room was small but clean & cool. Water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good. I didn’t use the gym or eat at the hotel so I have no info on that. "

"The Lucerne has been a longtime favorite of our family though we hadn’t stayed in over a decade. The hotel was still just as beautiful and elegant as it always has been. Amazing location blocks from Central Park. Nice Matin, the onsite restaurant, remains a neighborhood staple, which is no small feat in NYC. We won’t hesitate to book again."

"The Empire Hotel is in a great location. It has a restaurant to the right and a gelato shop to the left of the entrance. Both were very good. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was awesome. The lobby was fantastic and you get complimentary bottled water at the front desk whenever you want. That was definitely a plus for me since I drink a lot of water. I would definitely stay here again."
