"This was a really beautiful property, the location to the beach was amazing! The grounds were stunning as well! The staff was friendly and very helpful! It was nice to have the option to check out boogie boards right at the hotel, or you can rent surfboards right there as well. Our transportation to our next location didn't come until 3 hours after check out and they allowed us keep our luggage in a secure location and even had showers available if we wanted! This was a beautiful property!"

"We had a great ten night stay at Tamarindo Bay Hotel. Marie and the staff were great and added a wonderful personal touch to every single day. The pool was nice and the seating area around the pool absolutely unbeatable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a boutique feel for their vacation. If we return to Tamarindo, we will most likely stay at Tamarindo Bay again. "

"Beautiful property, amazing staff, specially Juan Carlos, Freddy and the ladies in the kitchen. The best breakfast we had in all CR. Too bad it is located in a town where millions of dollars are generated from the super expensive restaurants and hotels and not one penny put back into its infrastructure. Tamarindo should have the best roads, sidewalks and a sewer system. I don't think it is "charming" to walk on muddy roads, right next to trucks and noisy cars. "

"Very nice place. Just in the middle of nowhere. Cabs to and from town have to deal with a steep, dirt, bumpy, rock-filled road (one night we almost couldn't find it). And because of its isolation, not even able to walk around outside the 10-room facility. But the room, pool, staff, and included breakfasts were exceptional."

"The W is an absolutely beautiful property. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met while on your trip. The room was not only immaculate upon arrival but daily they made sure the room was spotless. The only downside is no entertainment in the evenings on property and not many dining options. We had to go to the Westin to eat dinner but not a big deal. "

"Perfect Boutique Mini Resort!! Individual bungalow type rooms with daily service. The outdoor (open top with screen enclosure) shower and bathroom was a great experience if your ok with trying something unique on your vacation. The staff was great and attentive from arrival to departure. The hotel is not new but definitely well maintained and clean. The resort is beautifully located up high and surrounded by a forest type setting, hence Costa Rica! The resort is on a slope with lots of steps...

"Our stay here was great, well advertised to what it is. Staff is helpful and kind. Good food and smoothies available at price. Pool was enjoyable and clean. About 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a restaurant beside the hotel so there is a dull sound of music in the evenings. I am a light sleeper and did not find this a problem. Bed is firm but was not a problem either. "The property was beautiful. Everyone in the resort was extremely friendly and warm, especially, the 2 bartenders by the pool bar, Marcos and Manuel. Marcos and Manuel took an interest with everyone who visited the pool bar. They were both very attentive and caring with all of our drink orders. They made the whole trip more fun and welcoming.
